Description

We will discuss a common design practice called spiral gardens to create microclimates where different varieties of plants will be grown. In order to protect the soil we will plant a cover crop. Hands on activities include: making medicinal herbal infusions.

This is one of a number of workshops in food sovereignty, delivered by Mní Wičhóni Nakíčižiŋ Wóuŋspe with the financial support of Standing Rock Language and Culture Institute.
