Designing windbreaks, mulching, mushroom cultivation.

Biodiversity means the variety of life in a particular habitat. We will learn how ecosystems function in terms of relationships and discuss the value of the forest while getting experience designing edible spaces for future prosperity. Hands on activities include designing a windbreak, mulching and cultivating mushrooms.

This is one of a number of workshops in food sovereignty, delivered by Mní Wičhóni Nakíčižiŋ Wóuŋspe with the financial support of Standing Rock Language and Culture Institute.
