Dakota/Lakota Language (Second Year)

Deepen your appreciation of our beautiful language

Even if you haven't had much practice since last summer, you will quickly get back into it, and be visiting in the language before you know it. This second-year course helps you describe your own language learning, talk about D/Lakota visual arts, and tell stories about Standing Rock wildlife.

Click Show Sessions to see the course objectives for each week. This series of three courses may be taken in combination with other courses, or on their own.

This course is available either in the morning or in the afternoon.

Three weeks of First Year language courses in previous summers.
