Go to Courses to explore the courses that are available to you, according to how many years you've attended DLSI in the past.
All classes last three weeks (apart from Transcription which lasts two weeks). When viewing the course description, click Show Sessions to see the learning objectives for each week.
Most DLSI students take two courses per week, but some take just one and some take three. The times listed for each course are for the live components (i.e. video calls). You should estimate about 1.5 hours of homework per day for each course, which you can complete on your own schedule.
When you’re ready to register, click Register from the Course Description, and enter your personal details.
Select the weeks that you'll attend. We encourage you to attend all three weeks, but if your personal schedule doesn't allow, you may attend only the first one or two weeks of a course.
Click Add another attendee if you’re registering a group, or Register Now if you're done.
Repeat this step for all courses you'd like to attend.
You will receive your registration confirmation by email right away. Before the course starts, you will also receive login information for Standing Rock’s language learner portal. This is where will access everything for your courses: video calls, YouTube videos, presentations, assignments, flashcards, and more.
Keep these details safe because you'll need them to attend class.
You can take any of our courses for college credit ($140 each) from Sitting Bull College. If you’re interested in this option, you must also register with Sitting Bull College. Your registration confirmation email will include a link where you can do this.
You will only be enrolled for college credit if you take this additional step.
